Directions:
Stovetop

Rinse lentils before using.

Place 1 cup of lentils in a large pot with 2 ½ cups of water and ½ tsp salt.

Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer, cover and cook until tender, 25 minutes.

Drain before use.
Slow Cooker

Rinse lentils before using.

Place 1 cup of lentils, 2 cups of water and ½ tsp salt into a slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low for 3 hours or high for 1 ½ hours.

Drain before use.
Multi-Cooker
-
Rinse lentils before using.

Place 1 cup of lentils, 2 ½ cups of water and ½ tsp salt in the pot of a multi-cooker.

Set the valve to sealing.
-
On manual setting and high pressure, set for 5 minutes.

Natural release the pressure for 20 minutes.
-
Drain before use.
